A Set of PLÖSSL 1.25” Telescope Eyepieces: 16mm, 26mm, 32mm

These Plössl eyepieces are used to optimise the performance of your telescopes to its best image quality and magnification power.

A telescope’s magnification is determined by dividing the focal length of the telescope by the focal length of eyepiece. For example, a scope with a focal length of 780mm in combination with a Plössl eyepiece PL16mm will have about 49 times magnification (power). You can balance your need for magnification with the need for field of view. The 32mm eyepiece will give a greater field of view. This large 32mm eyepiece can also be used for taking pictures through the scope with a digital camera.

Note: These eyepieces can fit to Nipon 26-78x78 compact scope (with an eyepiece adaptor which is also available from this shop), Nipon 700x60 astronomical telescope, and Nipon 70/350mm refractor telescope, as well as other types of scopes as long as they have a standard 1.25" eyepiece holder.
