This electronic digital eyepiece/camera can be fitted to a spotting scope or telescope as long as the scope has standard 1.25” eyepiece fitting. The digital eyepiece can be connected to a desktop/laptop computer through a USB cable. You can see a distant object on the computer screen and take pictures of the object by clicking the ‘take a new picture’ icon on the screen. The image of the current scene will be captured and saved into PC. You can also capture a video footage of distant scene (can set frame rate and time limit if you wish) and save the video file into the computer.

Note: For those who have purchased a NIPON 26-78x78 compact spotting scope/telescope, as the scope has got a built-in 1.25" eyepiece adapter, you can directly fit this digital eyepiece to this scope and it will achieve a 49.4x optical magnification on this scope (i.e., 780/15.8=49.4). It can also fit the NIPON 20-60x70 spotting scope (with an eyepiece adapter) and achieve 30x optical power. You can also adjust a digital zoom on computer by up to 9 times in addition to the optical power.
